Just got laid off, what should I do first?, accounts payable clerk here

They called a meeting on Wednesday and 10 of us were let go. I had been there 10 years. I do not usually post, so bear with me. I have a few weeks of savings and a rent payment due. Is there a checklist I should follow?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it last year, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
