Just got laid off, what should I do first?

They called a meeting on Monday and 5 of us were let go. I had been there 5 years. Any experience at all would help. I have a few weeks of savings and a rent payment due. Is there a checklist I should follow?

Ask for your final pay, unused leave and any documents in writing before you leave, if you still can.
