Just got laid off, what should I do first?

I was let go as a quality inspector this week and I am still in shock. I would rather hear the honest version than the polite one. I have a few weeks of savings and a rent payment due. What did you do in the first week?

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It saved me later.
