Just got laid off, what should I do first? - 8 months and counting

I was let go as a payroll clerk this week and I am still in shock. There are 5 people counting on me, so I am trying to be careful. I have a box of my things and a short letter about benefits. What did you do in the first week?

I made a short list: benefits, bills, documents, and then my résumé. One thing each day kept me steady.
