Just got laid off, what should I do first? - 7 months and counting

I lost my job as a quality inspector and I am not sure what to do first. It has been a long 26 weeks. I have a few weeks of savings and a rent payment due. Which steps were urgent?

Give yourself the first couple of days to be upset. I did, and then I felt able to plan.
