Just got laid off, what should I do first? - 5 months and counting

I was let go as a bookkeeper this week and I am still in shock. I have read a lot of threads here and could not find my exact situation. I have not told my family yet. What did you do in the first week?

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It saved me later.
