Just got laid off, what should I do first? - 4 months and counting

They called a meeting on Wednesday and 9 of us were let go. I had been there 9 years. I worked as an event coordinator before this. I have a box of my things and a short letter about benefits.

Give yourself the first couple of days to be upset. I did, and then I felt able to plan.
