Just got laid off, what should I do first? - 4 months and counting

I lost my job as a forklift operator and I am not sure what to do first. There are 9 people counting on me, so I am trying to be careful. I have a box of my things and a short letter about benefits. What did you do in the first week?

Give yourself the first couple of days to be upset. I did, and then I felt able to plan.
