Just got laid off, what should I do first? - 3 weeks in

They called a meeting on Tuesday and 3 of us were let go. I had been there 3 years. There are 3 people counting on me, so I am trying to be careful. I have not told my family yet. Which steps were urgent?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 8 months ago, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
