Just got laid off, what should I do first? - 22 weeks in

I lost my job as a pharmacy technician and I am not sure what to do first. I have not told my family yet. What did you do in the first week?

Ask for your final pay, unused leave and any documents in writing before you leave, if you still can.

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 14 months ago, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
