Just got laid off, what should I do first? - 2 weeks in

I lost my job as a web developer and I am not sure what to do first. I am in Salt Lake City, in case local advice matters. I have not told my family yet. Is there a checklist I should follow?

File for unemployment right away. Do not wait for severance decisions. The date you file can matter.
