Just got laid off, what should I do first? - 15 weeks in

They called a meeting on Friday and 16 of us were let go. I had been there 16 years. I have a few weeks of savings and a rent payment due.

Give yourself the first couple of days to be upset. I did, and then I felt able to plan.

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it last year, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
