Just got laid off, what should I do first? - 14 months and counting

I lost my job as a social media manager and I am not sure what to do first. There are 7 people counting on me, so I am trying to be careful. I have not told my family yet.

Ask for your final pay, unused leave and any documents in writing before you leave, if you still can.

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 14 months ago, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
