Just got laid off, what should I do first? - 14 months and counting

I was let go as a mechanic this week and I am still in shock. I have read a lot of threads here and could not find my exact situation. I have a box of my things and a short letter about benefits. Is there a checklist I should follow?

I made a short list: benefits, bills, documents, and then my résumé. One thing each day kept me steady.
