Just got laid off, what should I do first? - 13 weeks in

I was let go as an IT help-desk technician this week and I am still in shock. This is my first time dealing with any of this. I have not told my family yet. Is there a checklist I should follow?

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It saved me later.
