Just got laid off, what should I do first? - 13 months and counting

They called a meeting on Tuesday and 15 of us were let go. I had been there 15 years. I have read a lot of threads here and could not find my exact situation. I have a box of my things and a short letter about benefits. What did you do in the first week?

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It saved me later.
