Just got laid off, what should I do first? - 12 weeks in

I was let go as a paralegal this week and I am still in shock. I have been trying to stay organised about it. I have not told my family yet. Is there a checklist I should follow?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it last year, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
