Just got laid off, what should I do first? - 11 months and counting

They called a meeting on Friday and 4 of us were let go. I had been there 4 years. I worked as a bank teller before this. I have a few weeks of savings and a rent payment due. Is there a checklist I should follow?

Give yourself the first couple of days to be upset. I did, and then I felt able to plan.

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It saved me later.
