Just got laid off, what should I do first? - 11 months and counting

They called a meeting on Monday and 5 of us were let go. I had been there 5 years. This is my first time dealing with any of this. I have not told my family yet. What did you do in the first week?

Give yourself the first couple of days to be upset. I did, and then I felt able to plan.
