Just got laid off, what should I do first? - 11 months and counting

They called a meeting on Wednesday and 9 of us were let go. I had been there 9 years. I do not usually post, so bear with me. I have not told my family yet.

I made a short list: benefits, bills, documents, and then my résumé. One thing each day kept me steady.

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It saved me later.
