Just got laid off, what should I do first? - 11 months and counting

I was let go as an HR coordinator this week and I am still in shock. It has been weighing on me all week. I have a box of my things and a short letter about benefits. What did you do in the first week?

Give yourself the first couple of days to be upset. I did, and then I felt able to plan.
