Just got laid off, what should I do first? - 10 months and counting

I lost my job as a data-entry clerk and I am not sure what to do first. Thank you in advance. I have a few weeks of savings and a rent payment due. What did you do in the first week?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it last year, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
