Just got laid off, what should I do first? - 10 months and counting

They called a meeting on Friday and 10 of us were let go. I had been there 10 years. It has been a long 26 weeks. I have not told my family yet. What did you do in the first week?

Give yourself the first couple of days to be upset. I did, and then I felt able to plan.
