Just got laid off, what should I do first?

I was let go as a dental hygienist this week and I am still in shock. It has been a long 20 weeks. I have not told my family yet. Is there a checklist I should follow?

Give yourself the first couple of days to be upset. I did, and then I felt able to plan.
