Industry layoffs, what are people doing? - what worked for you?

Three companies in Pittsburgh cut staff in the same month. I do not usually post, so bear with me. The postings I see are fewer and ask for more. Which areas are hiring?

Look at job postings to see which skills repeat, then fill the gap. That gave me a direction.

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It saved me later.
