Industry layoffs, what are people doing? (Seattle)

Diego Halvorsen · 2026-05-11T05:08:36.738Z

Our sector has been shrinking and I am unsure if I should wait it out. I worked as an accounts payable clerk before this. I have transferable skills but no direct experience elsewhere. Which areas are hiring?

Talk to people in the field you are considering. Two coffee chats changed my mind about one option.
