Industry layoffs, what are people doing?, school bus driver here

Many of the people I know in my field were laid off this year, including me as a school bus driver. This is my first time dealing with any of this. I am open to a pay cut if the field is stable. Which areas are hiring?

I moved into operations work. The skills carried over and there were more openings than in my old field.
