Industry layoffs, what are people doing? - first time posting

Three companies in Salt Lake City cut staff in the same month. I worked as an event coordinator before this. I am open to a pay cut if the field is stable. How did you choose?

Look at job postings to see which skills repeat, then fill the gap. That gave me a direction.

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 11 months ago, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
