Industry layoffs, what are people doing? (Denver)

Three companies in Denver cut staff in the same month. It has been a long 11 weeks. I am open to a pay cut if the field is stable. Which areas are hiring?

I moved into operations work. The skills carried over and there were more openings than in my old field.
