Industry layoffs, what are people doing?

Three companies in Tucson cut staff in the same month. I have been trying to stay organised about it. I have transferable skills but no direct experience elsewhere. Which areas are hiring?

A short certificate helped me more than a new degree would have. Check what local colleges offer.
