Industry layoffs, what are people doing? - any advice?

Three companies in Toledo cut staff in the same month. There are 14 people counting on me, so I am trying to be careful. The postings I see are fewer and ask for more.

Look at job postings to see which skills repeat, then fill the gap. That gave me a direction.
