Industry layoffs, what are people doing? (Albuquerque)

Three companies in Albuquerque cut staff in the same month. There are 5 people counting on me, so I am trying to be careful. The postings I see are fewer and ask for more. Which areas are hiring?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 12 months ago, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
