Industry layoffs, what are people doing? after 8 years as an insurance claims processor

Our sector has been shrinking and I am unsure if I should wait it out. The postings I see are fewer and ask for more. How did you choose?

I moved into operations work. The skills carried over and there were more openings than in my old field.
