Industry layoffs, what are people doing? after 5 years as an operations analyst

Many of the people I know in my field were laid off this year, including me as an operations analyst. There are 5 people counting on me, so I am trying to be careful. The postings I see are fewer and ask for more. Which areas are hiring?
