Industry layoffs, what are people doing? after 10 years as a project coordinator

Three companies in Milwaukee cut staff in the same month. I have transferable skills but no direct experience elsewhere. Which areas are hiring?

I moved into operations work. The skills carried over and there were more openings than in my old field.
