Industry layoffs, what are people doing?

Many of the people I know in my field were laid off this year, including me as an insurance claims processor. I worked as an insurance claims processor before this. I am open to a pay cut if the field is stable.

I moved into operations work. The skills carried over and there were more openings than in my old field.
