Industry layoffs, what are people doing? - 8 weeks in

Our sector has been shrinking and I am unsure if I should wait it out. I worked as a bookkeeper before this. I have transferable skills but no direct experience elsewhere. Who has switched fields?

A short certificate helped me more than a new degree would have. Check what local colleges offer.
