Industry layoffs, what are people doing? - 8 months and counting

Three companies in Atlanta cut staff in the same month. This is my first time dealing with any of this. I am open to a pay cut if the field is stable. Which areas are hiring?

A short certificate helped me more than a new degree would have. Check what local colleges offer.
