Industry layoffs, what are people doing? - 4 months and counting

Many of the people I know in my field were laid off this year, including me as a hotel front-desk agent. I have been trying to stay organised about it. I am open to a pay cut if the field is stable.

Look at job postings to see which skills repeat, then fill the gap. That gave me a direction.

A short certificate helped me more than a new degree would have. Check what local colleges offer.
