Industry layoffs, what are people doing? - 22 weeks in

Three companies in Sacramento cut staff in the same month. I do not usually post, so bear with me. I am open to a pay cut if the field is stable. Who has switched fields?

I moved into operations work. The skills carried over and there were more openings than in my old field.
