Industry layoffs, what are people doing? - 21 weeks in

Many of the people I know in my field were laid off this year, including me as a sales associate. I have been trying to stay organised about it. I have transferable skills but no direct experience elsewhere. Who has switched fields?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 10 months ago, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
