Three companies in Seattle cut staff in the same month. It has been weighing on me all week. I have transferable skills but no direct experience elsewhere. How did you choose?

A short certificate helped me more than a new degree would have. Check what local colleges offer.

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It saved me later.
