Industry layoffs, what are people doing? - 11 months and counting

Three companies in Detroit cut staff in the same month. I would rather hear the honest version than the polite one. The postings I see are fewer and ask for more. Who has switched fields?

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.
