How do you keep going after 8 rejections? - 18 weeks in

I sent 8 applications and heard nothing back, and I am running low on energy. This is my first time dealing with any of this. I keep comparing myself with friends who are working. Did it pass?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 11 months ago, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
