How do you keep going after 6 rejections? - 14 months and counting

I sent 6 applications and heard nothing back, and I am running low on energy. I would rather hear the honest version than the polite one. I keep comparing myself with friends who are working. Did it pass?

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.
