How do you keep going after 3 rejections? - 12 months and counting

After a layoff as a data-entry clerk I am finding mornings difficult. This is my first time dealing with any of this. I keep comparing myself with friends who are working. What helps you on bad days?

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.
