How do you keep going after 18 rejections? - 8 months and counting

After a layoff as a bookkeeper I am finding mornings difficult. I would rather hear the honest version than the polite one. I do not want to burden my family. Is it worth talking to someone?

Many counselling centres have sliding-scale rates. I found one through 211, and it made a difference.
