How do you keep going after 18 rejections?

I sent 18 applications and heard nothing back, and I am running low on energy. It has been a long 14 weeks. I keep comparing myself with friends who are working. Is it worth talking to someone?

Many counselling centres have sliding-scale rates. I found one through 211, and it made a difference.
