How do you keep going after 17 rejections? - what worked for you?

After a layoff as an electrician's helper I am finding mornings difficult. There are 17 people counting on me, so I am trying to be careful. I keep comparing myself with friends who are working. Is it worth talking to someone?

A fixed routine helped me most: up at the same time, one hour of job search, then a walk. Small but it worked.
