How do you keep going after 17 rejections? - what worked for you?

I sent 17 applications and heard nothing back, and I am running low on energy. I do not want to burden my family. Is it worth talking to someone?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 8 months ago, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
